The Perfect Midtown Bachelor Pad

It's one thing to have a stylish, trendy condo; it's a great thing to have a spacious one that you can move around in. Felix, an executive in the Atlanta area poses at his newly constructed 1300 sq ft. condo in Midtown Atlanta. His comforting and welcoming home is wrapped in taupe colored walls with hard wood floors throughout. This along with the vibrant pops of color creates an airy and welcoming feel to this open floor plan. The wall to wall windows provide a beautiful and breathtaking view of the Atlanta skyline.

There was no expense spared in designing this gorgeous interior. Felix has done a wonderful job creating a personal, warm and cozy contemporary living space. Some of the features include a beautiful kitchen with dark wood cabinets, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a large island for cooking and entertaining.

Felix converted his second bedroom into a spectacular office space.  His tufted cream loveseat was purchased from West Elm.  The sleek and stylish bookshelves are from CB2 and the area rug is from Ikea .

Master Bedroom & Bathroom.  Felix's bedroom and bathroom features furnishings and accessories from Pier 1, West Elm, B Motorized Blinds, Overlook.com and Foresyth Fabrics (Custom Drapes)

Here are Felix's top reasons for choosing his stylish condo:
  • Midtown location (I love Midtown and I love being able to walk to the office and avoid traffic)
  • Highrise living (I have a 14th floor unit so I get a nice view)
  • Great amenities (covered parking -2 spots, swimming pool, fitness center, Club room)
  • Modern Living Space (10 foot windows, hardwood floors, modern style kitchen)

Well we cant argue that Felix has great style...and yes ladies he is single!!

30 Pounds in 30 Days

Well…I’ve decided to challenge myself for 30 days. My challenge will start today July 4, 2011 and end on August 3, 2011. My goal will be to lose at least 30 pounds. My starting weight is 193.9 lbs, which means I should be at 163.9 by August 3, 2011. See below for my diet and workout plan.

Meal Plan
After much thought, I decided to go with the Impatient Dieter’s weight loss plan. If you’re not familiar with her she has videos all over YouTube. She consumes 1200 calories per day by drinking seven 100 calorie meal replacement shakes everyday along with two meals (lunch and dinner) which consist of a salad with meat (usually chicken) and sandwich pinwheel wraps from Wal-Mart. This plan has worked great for her; she’s lost 50 lbs in 30 days. Her overall weight loss was 72 lbs in two months.

Exercise Plan
This was tough for me. I have a myriad of exercise equipment, DVDs, magazines and a club membership. I decided to use my Oxygen magazines to guide me through my morning workouts and go to my fitness club in the evenings. I have two years worth of subscriptions and they contain great information on how to obtain a better body in 30 days including articles on “How to Look Sexy in Short Shorts”, “1800 Ab Workouts”, “Sculpt Better Arms”, and “Building a Sexy Back”…these are perfect since my challenge is 30 days long!

I’ll track and post my weigh loss results every week and give an overview of how my eating and exercise plan went.
